At the end of the summer of 2016, a truly magical festival took place in St. Petersburg. For three days, a real “Diagon Alley” worked for wizards and sorceresses from all over the country. This name is known to everyone who is familiar with the history of Harry Potter. A high-quality reconstruction of the magical space described in books about the adventures of a wizard boy has been prepared in the Northern Capital.

In his work, the author tells that in the very center of London there is a small shopping district for wizards, which Muggles cannot get into. Many visitors to the fair did not know much about the magical reality before visiting it. What is interesting about the Diagon Alley fair? In the shops that operated in the legendary lane, you could buy a full range of goodies, magical stationery, magical books and artifacts described in the Harry Potter books. Foretellers of the future, real magicians and fortune tellers were waiting for the guests in a separate area of the festival. Creative people liked the master classes, during which you can make a variety of magical devices and just cute souvenirs with your own hands.
A real surprise for Harry Potter fans is the "Magic and Technology" zone, where you can learn more about virtual magic, get scientific explanations of many magical events and phenomena.
Besides this, the guests of the festival could have a bite to eat in themed cafes, the most popular of which was the institution with the book name "Leaky Cauldron". Visitors were offered an original menu: drinks from magical herbs, ice cream in all colors of the rainbow and many other very unusual dishes. The visitors also remember the interactive fair thanks to its special atmosphere, magical photo zones,meetings with interesting guests, quests and quizzes.

As part of the Diagon Alley festival, everyone could meet the most famous psychics of the country, participants and winners of the Battle of Psychics project Natalya Banteeva, Ekaterina Borisova, Vladimir Muranov, Dmitry Volkhov and many others.
One of the most memorable workshops of the fair was devoted to the study of snake language. After completing a short tutorial, everyone could practice their skills by talking to a real python. A real sovarium worked at the festival site - a shop-exhibition of live owls. Another unusual guest of the event is the soothsayer lemur, the only animal in our country with such vivid magical abilities.

Everyone could visit the magical event. Entrance to the territory of the festival space was carried out with special tickets. The cost of attending the event for adults (over 21 years old) was 500 rubles, for students (12-21 years old) - 300 rubles, for children (8-12 years old) - 100 rubles.
Children under the age of 7 could go to the fair for free, accompanied by adults. You could buy tickets in advance at the box office or directly at the entrance to the festival. Purchases in magic shops, cafes and restaurants were paid separately. The festival "Slanting Alley" was heldwith incredible success and garnering tons of rave reviews.
