Shenzhen is a city in southern China bordering the famous Hong Kong. It is the most rapidly developing region of the republic. History of the city

Shenzhen is a young city whose construction began only in 1979. However, this area has never been deserted. There were many fishing villages along the coast. Magnificent China Folk Village

Mount Wutong

Shenzhen is not only famous for its theme parks. China, whose sights are very extensive, attracts, first of all, with its original nature. Mount Vutong, the highest in the region, has become an example of a classic natural monument. Its height is almost 950 meters above sea level.

The climb is carried out on specially equipped steps and lasts an average of about 4 hours. It is best to start climbing the mountain on weekdays so as not to catch a large number of tourists. You do not need to take food and drinks with you, on the way to the top there are many small shops selling everything you need at an inexpensive price. In addition to them, along the way, tourists will meet bike paths, souvenir shops and even a Buddhist temple.

Dapeng Fortress

Dapeng Fortress is a historical monument representing ancient China. Shenzhen is a newly built city, so old buildings are rare here. The fortress itself was built in the XIV century and was once part of the ancient city. Dapan was a sea fortress that protected the state from the south. Now there are many buildings dating back to the Ming Dynasty. The fortress played an important role in the famous Opium Wars and was also famous for its cannons that defended the city from Japanese pirates.
