"Boeing 744" ("Transaero"): cabin layout and the most comfortable seats

Each of us, going on a trip, dreams of the most comfortable conditions. It is not always possible to find out information about a particular type of transport, especially when it comes to an airplane. Today we will study the layout of the cabin "Boeing 744" ("Transaero"), as well as identify the distinctive features of the liner.

What is it?

The Boeing 744 is one of the most popular airliner models. It entered service in 1989. The layout of the cabin "Boeing 744" ("Transaero") can be seen below.

• economy class - 660 seats;
• economy business - 524 seats;
• economy business (first) - 416 seats.

Let's take a closer look at the layout of the Boeing 747-400 cabin (the number of seats in the cabin is 552). The aircraft has two decks (upper and lower).

On the upper deck from the first to the third row there are business class seats. There is everything for a person to settle down comfortably:

• VIP seats with automatic levers;
• various drinks and food (any cuisine);
• polite and pleasant staff;
• cleanliness both in the salon and in the toilet;
• provision of medicines if necessary;
• individual approach to each passenger.

Starting from the fifth row, there are economy class seats. They are also reasonably comfortable, but no frills.

As for the ninth row of the aircraft, it belongs to the economy class. Seats located in this row are less comfortable due to the fact that they are close to the deck and the restroom (this can cause discomfort during the flight).

There are 470 seats on the lower deck, they belong to the tourist class. When purchasing a ticket,consider some important aspects:

• In rows 10, 11, 12 there are 2-3 places. Of all the seats on the lower deck, these seats are recognized as the most comfortable.
• 19 the row is close to the emergency exit, which is not very convenient on a long flight.
• 20, 21 and 22 rows - toilets are located nearby.
• 29 - there are emergency exits nearby.
• 31, 32, 33 and 34 rows are quite comfortable, except for the seats that are located by the stairs.
• 43, 70, 54 and 71 rows - there are emergency hatches nearby that do not allow the backs of the seats to unfold.
• 44, 55 rows feature more legroom. The only negative is the close location of the restrooms.
• From rows 67 to 70 it is comfortable to travel as a couple, as there will be no strangers nearby. The downside is the proximity of the toilets.

As you can see, the layout of the Boeing 744 cabin in Transaero is thought out in the sense that there are seats of different levels of comfort and, accordingly, different price categories.
