After the death of the great Russian poet Sergei Alexandrovich Yesenin, a museum dedicated to his memory was opened in his home, in the village of Konstantinovo.
Opening of the reading room
With a request to open a museum in memory of Sergei Yesenin, the poet's mother turned to the secretary of the Ryazan Regional Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks. Museum in Konstantinovo was organized shortly after the death of the poet in 1926 in the form of a reading room.
