Bulgaria is not only a state with wonderful Black Sea beaches, gentle sun and excellent service. It is also of great interest both for connoisseurs of the historical past and for ordinary tourists who prefer an exciting vacation.

Varna is considered to be a favorite Bulgarian resort among tourists. The Black Sea embankments, mild climate and highly developed entertainment industry attract thousands of travelers every year.

Undoubtedly, the passive form of recreation, which consists in constant pastime on the beach, exhausts rather quickly. Therefore, the sights of Varna diversify the rest. It is recommended to visit all kinds of famous places, which abound here. This resort town has a rich historical heritage. Where exactly to go and what sights of Varna to visit in the first place? For tourists, this is a very problematic issue, but only from the side of the variety of choices. Any traveler can find here something attractive and memorable.

A special place is given to the dolphinarium. Every year it is visited by thousands of admiring tourists.

Of course, half of them are children and teenagers. In addition to the established cascades, tricks with balls, hoops and other projectiles, visitors can be given the opportunity to swim with dolphins.

No less popular is the aquarium, which was opened back in 1932. Externally, the building looks like a huge oyster. The collection includes a lot of Black Sea fish species and other ocean inhabitants.

Of course, one cannot imagine the sights of Varna without architectural creations, among which the colossal Assumption Cathedral stands out. Built in 1886, it is famous for its extensive collection of icons and frescoes, mostly painted after World War II.

Evsinograd Seaside Park, opened about two centuries ago, is currently a unique combination of rare plants, colorful alleys, spreading trees and intricate shrubs.

Sights of Varna are numerous museums. So, in the Museum of the Sea you can see old boats and various types of equipment, household items for sailors and personal belongings of military commanders.

Of great importance is the Museum of Natural History with a collection of the entire biological environment of the state. The exhibition is divided into sections: geology, flora and fauna, prehistoric fossils and rare modernspecies.

You should not leave the Museum of Archeology with its ancient exhibits without attention. Some of them seem to be of the highest value, for example, gold items that are seven to eight thousand years old. In total, the collection includes more than fifty thousand rare items.

Varna, Bulgaria, attractions - these words are, without any doubt, synonymous with exciting pastime in this country.

If you rent a car, you can diversify your vacation and visit the most interesting places near the resort. Among them are the Aladzha rock monastery, Cape Kiliakra, the Stone Forest.
