Inzer, Belaya, Sim, Yuryuzan are unique rivers along which you can take unforgettable walks and admire the delightful virgin nature of the region. No wonder this republic is called the pearl of the Urals and is often compared with Switzerland.

Natural resources of Bashkiria

This region is distinguished by amazing natural landscapes, historical monuments, a multinational population and rich cultural traditions. The natural resources of Bashkiria are impressive: about 600 rivers, 300 ancient karst caves, 800 lakes, a myriad of mountain ranges, a national park and 3 statereserve. Of course, in comparison with highly developed Switzerland, the tourist infrastructure has not yet reached impeccable comfort and service, but this industry is now actively developing: more and more new hotels, recreation centers, hotels, tourist campsites are appearing. In addition, the old complexes for vacationers are also beginning to be restored and reopened. In a word, tourism here takes on a second life.

Inzer River in Bashkiria

Perhaps the most famous mountain river of the republic is the Inzer. However, the easily accessible body of water pays a high price for popularity. Hundreds of travelers annually rest near its shores, but not all of them leave the clearing behind in a clean and pristine form. Throughout Inzer, you can see hundreds of parking lots littered with heaps of garbage and dirt.

But how attractive Bashkiria is! Inzer is one of the many rivers in the region. On a warm summer day, it is so nice to raft with a spinning rod along Inzer rifts and reaches, listen to the rustle of the waves, breathe in the smells of the forest and water…

The sources of the Small and Big Inzer are separated by the highest mountain ranges of the Southern Urals: the Kumardak, Mashak ridges and its main peak - Mount Yamantau. To meet each other, each of the rivers passes a rather winding and difficult path. The Bolshoi Inzer originates on the southeastern slopes of the Kumardak ridge and flows southwest through the deserted wastelands of the South Ural Reserve. Small Inzer descends from the eastern slope of the Nara massif, and then quickly runs in the same direction, but along the other side of the giant Yamantau. Having passed a difficult route in pairshundreds of kilometers, both rivers merge into one beautiful turbulent stream, which all Bashkiria is so proud of - Inzer.

Inzer Alloys

Rafting on a turbulent stream can even those tourists who do not have special training. This route is also convenient because it runs along the railway tracks, and if desired, it can be completed at any point. The Bolshoy Inzer River is not full-flowing, so you can swim only at a sufficiently high water level. The same can be said about the Small Inzer - rafting is possible here only during the spring flood.

It is better to start rafting down the Inzer from the Kurmanai railway station to the Saryshta riffle (length 40 km). This is, one might say, the wildest part of the journey. The valley of the Bolshoy Inzer River is rather narrow, and the current is surprisingly fast. There are many pitfalls and surface boulders. In addition, steep cliffs block the path from time to time. In such areas, it seems that the kayak is about to crash … True, 20-25 meters before the rocks, the river makes a significant turn, which sometimes reaches 180º. Further, the ship rushes on, barely touching the granite rocks at the turn. Sometimes the mountains move away from the water for a couple of tens of kilometers, and magnificent views open up to the eye. There are also endless meadows with high (up to 2 meters!) grass. There is simply no one to mow it: there are simply no settlements in this region.

Second stage

Next exciting water tripyou can continue through the village of Zapan. After about 25 km there will be the village of Suran. 5 km from the Saryshta rift, there is an uninhabited Seregin farm, where a water meter is located. After the farm, the Inzer valley narrows even more. Mount Karatash comes close to the river from the north, and Yurmatau peak from the south. The longest Saryshta roll, approximately 6 km long, begins at this section.

On the rift, Inzer is completely unkind to tourists. Rest in these places is chosen by many lovers of extreme recreation, but if you decide to fight against a dangerous roll, we want to warn you right away that it will not be easy. A lot of tests await you: waves, foam breakers, a large number of stones. And in general, in the Saryshta region, the Inzer current is significantly accelerated. Overcoming the roll, of course, will take a lot of strength from you, however, no doubt, it will reward you with unprecedented sensations and emotions. At the same time, it should be noted that in summer this area usually becomes shallow and becomes almost impassable.

Last Section

Undoubtedly, many Russian citizens and even foreigners are attracted to Bashkiria. Inzer is a real natural treasure of the region. After the Sarysht roll, the surroundings slowly change landscapes. Majestic rocks rise above the water, rifts rustle, and the current becomes faster. Along the coast you can see narrow paths and endless forests.

The nearest village from here is the village of Enaul, which is 65 km away. Not far from it is an amazing cave. The entrance to it is so narrow and low thatYou can only get inside by crawling. After 10 meters, the passage widens, and the guests of the cave enter a large hall with stalagmites and stalactites. At the end of the cave is an amazingly beautiful lake. In the cave, by the way, there are many unexplored corridors.

Hard Threshold

15 km below is the village of Ramyshta, next to which rises a majestic sheer cliff. There are many stones in the river along this stretch. A significant obstacle for rafting is the Aigir rapid, which is classified as the third category of difficulty, so only well-trained athletes can overcome this section, it is better for beginners not to plan a trip on this segment.

Other rivers

The water bodies of the republic are hundreds of water bodies. Travelers have the opportunity to make rafting on the rivers of Bashkiria, and at the same time improve their he alth. Many, for example, prefer boat trips along the picturesque Belaya River. Such tours are made on rafts (inflatable boats), which are distinguished by reliability and stability. The vessel can accommodate from 6 to 12 people. At each parking lot you can relax, eat and go on a tour.

Local guides can show you places of amazing beauty, tell you fascinating legends and introduce you to the customs of the local people. Rafting on the rivers of Bashkiria is often carried out in warm weather (May-October). For safety reasons, rafting is conducted by experienced instructors.

Tourists can choose boat trips along the rivers Lemeze, Sakmara, Yuryuzan and others. All of the listed riversmountain, therefore, they are distinguished by an impressive current speed. You can choose a calmer Ai River, where there are almost no difficult rapids. To be alone with nature, choose rafting on the Zilim River, there are practically no settlements on its banks.

Lakes of Bashkiria for recreation

In Ufa there is a picturesque lake Kashkadan, which has a natural origin. In summer, citizens and guests of the capital of Bashkiria like to spend time here.

In the Karmaskala region, near the village of Old Kieshki (40 km from Ufa), there is Lake Aksakovskoe. This body of water is the old woman of the Agidel River. In spring, the lake overflows and connects with a channel.

Beautiful scenery of Arakul Lake. It is surrounded by forests and mountains, and its water sparkles like an emerald. Back in 1969, Arakul was declared a natural monument.

We continue to talk about the lakes of Bashkiria for recreation. Asyl-Kul is considered the largest lake in the republic. It hid 30 km from the city of Davlekanovo. Bannoye Lake is located in the arms of majestic mountains. The most favorable conditions for rest and treatment are created here: magnificent sanatoriums, aromas of medicinal herbs and needles hovering in the air, a lot of mushrooms and berries.

Waterfalls

The natural we alth of Bashkiria is simply innumerable. In addition to mountains, rivers, caves and lakes, there are many waterfalls in the region. True, they are not as high here as in the North Caucasus, but they have no equal in their beauty.

The largest waterfall in the republic is the Gadelsha waterfall (about 15 meters high), not far from Sibay. One of the most popular among tourists is the Atysh waterfall (4 meters). Near it is the Bear Cave. Near the Nugush reservoir there is a Kuperlya waterfall (15 meters), which dries up completely in summer.

There are also small waterfalls. For example, the Inzer waterfall is considered very picturesque. True, it is difficult to call it a waterfall in the classical sense, since in fact it is a spring descending from a cliff.

Near Lake Aslukul you can meet the waterfall Sharlama, whose height is 12 meters. Around him only mountains, small hills and endless steppe.

Regional tourism

The republic presents a wide variety of types of tourism: kayaking, hiking, snowmobiling, quad biking, skiing, biking, horseback riding. If you wish, you can improve your he alth in the sanatoriums of the republic. Many travelers prefer to stay near the Inzer River. If this region develops in the same way, then in a couple of years many Russians will give preference to Bashkiria, and not to European resorts.
