So, lovers of lying all day on the beach are expected on exotic islands. Here you don’t even have to go to the bar for food or drinks - they will bring everything you need. For those who like to combine the useful with the beautiful, it is better to visit the Becici beach, as few people offer such a rich vacation as in Montenegro. It has everything: water sports, beautiful coastline, mountains, ancient history, unusually picturesque landscapes, and delicious food.

Description of the beach

As you know, at the dawn of the twentieth century, people only began to get involved in water tourism, but already in 1935, Becici beach (Montenegro) received the Grand Prix in Paris as one of the best in Europe. It is considered as such today.

Throughout 1950 meters it changes - slightly dark sand on the northernthe tip of the coast turns into golden on the south. A strip of very small pebbles runs along the surf, in which children especially like to mess around.

The beach in Becici (reviews from vacationers confirm this) has a number of advantages over other sea coasts in the same Montenegro and Europe:

firstly, it is municipal, which means it is free even in those parts that belong to hotels;
secondly, the gentle descent into the sea guarantees safety and a gradual increase in depth, which is especially important for travelers with children;
thirdly, it is equipped with everything you need - showers, changing cabins, cafes, bars and toilets;
fourthly, it is constantly cleaned, so the ecology and cleanliness here are at the highest level;
fifthly, it is wide enough for everyone to decide how to relax - rent a sun lounger and an umbrella or lie on a towel near the water.

Among the minuses of this beach, you can only point out that there are a lot of people here during the season, but this is understandable, after all, the best in Europe. Prices for comfort on the beach are quite reasonable - a sun lounger under an umbrella will cost 8€, and a wide comfortable bed - 20€.

Since there are no shops on the coast, you should stock up on water and food in advance or buy everything you need in a cafe, but at different prices.

The best time for a relaxing holiday on Becici beach is June, as the main influx of tourists starts in July and subsides only by the end of September.

Dukley Apartments

From the north sideBecici beach ends with a cape that separates the village from the city of Budva. It is completely built up by the Dukley Gardens 4hotel. If you look at it from the sea, it looks a lot like a rock with swallows' nests, but in fact it is full of light and very cozy apartments. Rafailovici is part of Becici, the sandy beach of which is considered one of the best, although the sand and pebble part of the “Arena” is also in demand, especially for couples with children. You can enjoy any corner of the coast in Montenegro, avoiding high housing costs. For example, hotels and apartments located across the road from the sea are an order of magnitude cheaper than those on the coast.

Besides, all the supermarkets, boutiques and markets are also behind the highway, so everyone willy-nilly cross it, so why pay more?

And although you have to walk 10-15 minutes to the beach, the cost of housing from 20€ per day is very good, as travelers who lived in apartments behind the highway note.

Island of St. Stefan

For clients who choose a luxury holiday, the best option would be a hotel located on the island of St. Stephen. Once there was a fishing village, but today it is a hotel complex that completely occupies the territory of the island.

It is connected to the coast by a sandy isthmus and until the middle of the 20th century, few people knew about it, since the island was inhabited by fishing families.
