About airline
Aigle Azur is a French airline founded in 1946. It is considered to be the oldest private organization in France.
From 1946 to 1955, the aircraft fleet included DC-3 aircraft. At this time, flights to settlements in Africa and the Pacific region begin.

In 2001, the airline was bought out by the Groupe GOFAST organization, which was engaged in logistics and international cargo transportation. In this regard, the name was changed to the original. However, from that moment on, the company begins to operate mainly short-haul and medium-haul flights. The aircraft fleet of the enterprise was completely updated. Aigle Azur: reviews of Russian travelers
Some travelers from Russia during the 3 years of the airline's operation in our market have already managed to use its services. In the work of the airline, they highlight both positive and negative aspects.
Positive ones include:
- low cost flights;
- professionalism of pilots;
- politeness and delicacy of flight attendants;
- newness of the fleet;
- quality, acceptable food;
- small number of flight delays and cancellations;
- availability of children's travel kits;
- the ability to choose seats when buying tickets.
Most of the negative aspects of the majority of passengers point out the inconvenience of the seats. Also, travelers note that the quality of charter flights sometimes leaves much to be desired: children are not offered amenity kits, and the salons are rather dirty and untidy. However, these shortcomings do not apply to scheduled flights.
Aigle Azur is one of the oldest private airlines in France, founded in the post-war years. During the 70 years of the airline's existence, its name has changed three times. Now the carrier is organizing regular and seasonal passenger flights from France to the cities of Europe and North Africa. In general, passengers are satisfied with the quality of the airline's work. However, most people note shortcomings in the organization of seasonalflights.
