Deciphering food in hotels like CB (continental breakfast), translated into Russian - “continental breakfast”, involves an inexpensive light breakfast, which includes a cup of coffee or tea, buns, as well as jam and butter. Also, you will probably be served thin slices of cheese or sausage for breakfast.
If you are offered Buffet Breakfast, or, as we call it, a buffet that has another popular name - "buffet", then you will be offered several types of salads, pastries, egg dishes for breakfast. And in hotels of high categories, even hot dishes can be served for breakfast. The main thing to remember is that in almost all resort hotels breakfast is included in the price, so you can not refuse it. Meals of this type are most often provided on sightseeing tours or business trips, sometimes at ski resorts.
There is food in hotels class HB (Half Board), called half board. This meal option includes dinner and breakfast, but without lunch. In this case, breakfast will be provided in the form of a "buffet", and dinner - a "buffet" or a salad bar, which will include hot dishes of your choice from the provided menu. Often drinks are included in the price of the stay, but sometimes they can be paid separately. The quality of the food served and the choice of food may vary between different types of hotels.
