Moscow region or, as people say, Moscow region includes:

• 29 districts;
• 5 closed-type administrative-municipal formations;
• 32 cities that are subordinate to regional authorities;
• 2 urban-type settlements of regional subordination.

The capital of Russia itself is a separate subject of the federation and is not part of the region. The authorities of the Moscow region are located both in Moscow itself and in the city of Krasnogorsk (350 m from the Moscow Ring Road).

Silver Ponds

An urban-type settlement or worker in the Moscow region with a population of just over 9,000. It is believed that at the end of the first millennium, the territory under the modern Serebryany Ponds was inhabited by the Vyatichi, this opinion is confirmed by archaeological excavations. While there was fragmentation in Russia, the lands were transferred from Chernigov to the Ryazan principality. Due to frequent raids, the village was always small.

But already at the beginning of the last century there were 3 schools in the village, and in 1912 even a higher primary school was opened. By 1941, there were about 30 thousand inhabitants in the village. In 1961the settlement receives the status of a workers' settlement. And in 2015, Silver Ponds became subordinate to the regional authorities, an urban district was formed.

The settlement is located 160 km from the capital of the Russian Federation (along the Kashirskoye highway). The Ozherelye-Pavelets railway line also runs here.

Today, the construction of the residential complex "Orchid" is underway in the village. This is a monolithic 5-storey building with 3 sections. The building will have one and three bedroom apartments. On the ground floor of the house there will be commercial real estate, and in the courtyard - a children's and sports ground, parking. From the train station to the house is only 1.5 km.

Pgt Shakhovskaya

The second in the list of urban-type settlements in the Moscow region is Shakhovskaya, this status was assigned in 1958. Distance from Moscow - 154 km (highway M9 "B altic"). Today, 10,717 people live here. The settlement was founded in 1901 in connection with the construction of the railway line of the Moscow-Vindava direction. During the Second World War, the village was occupied by the Germans (from 1941 to 1942).

Currently, the House of Culture, a secondary school, a music school, and a local history museum function here. The village is gasified, electric trains run here. A brick factory and an electric lamp factory are operating, and mineral table water is being produced.

In the urban-type settlement of Shakhovskaya, new residential buildings are constantly being built. Developer - MPKH "Shakhovskaya", the founder of which is the administration of the district. In 2016, an 18-apartment building was built and occupied on the streetSoviet, 36-B. At 24 Novaya Street, a 3-storey residential building was erected and put into operation; today there are only two two-room apartments for sale. One of the interesting projects is the residential complex "Ekograd-Obukhovo" in the urban-type settlement of Obukhovo. It is only 28 km to Moscow along the Gorky Highway.
