"Logoisk" and "Silichi" - ski resorts in Belarus

There are no high mountains in Belarus, however, thanks to enthusiasts and entrepreneurs, in 2004-2005 wonderful ski resorts "Logoysk" and "Silichi" were created in the country. They are not world-class, and eminent athletes do not come here. But the ski resorts of Belarus are accessible to Belarusians and guests from neighboring countries who appreciate the climate at the resort, a small difference in hills and the relatively low cost of relaxing and skiing.

Belarusian winter ski season starts from early December and lasts until mid-March. But it all depends on weather conditions. If the spring is cold and frosty, the season is extended. The ski resorts of Belarus have modern equipment and snow cannons, which keep the slopes in good condition.

Logoisk ski resort

Locals call this resort "Belarusian Switzerland". Talented designers, taking into account the natural terrain and using moderntechnologies, created a European complex with a developed infrastructure. The resort town has hotels and guest cottages, a wonderful restaurant "Gascinny Maentak", which serves dishes of both national and European cuisine. Prices are moderate.

But the main thing in the ski resorts of Belarus is the slopes. And there are seven of them in Logoisk. There is a "red" descent, more difficult, and two "green" - for beginners. There is also a special slope where you can learn to ride under the guidance of a coach. The cost of an individual lesson with an instructor will cost 800 rubles per hour. The ski lift carries out the ascent to the training slope.

On the basis of the ski resort "Logoisk" (Belarus) there is a rental of equipment: ski kits (adults and children), snowboarder kits, boots for them, sticks. Prices for equipment are indicated in the price lists of the center.

Silichi

The popularity of the Silichi ski resort in Belarus is growing every year. It is located in the Logoisk district, literally a few kilometers from the equally popular Logoisk. The resort has a hotel complex and guest houses. There is free parking for 800 cars.

Seven trails of varying difficulty and length are at the disposal of winter sports enthusiasts. In this ski resort in Belarus, the tracks were built taking into account the landscape, consisting of hills and lowlands. The trails operate during the day and in the evening when the lighting is turned on. Two of them are for beginners and children, two are simple, four are of medium difficulty.and one difficult one. All have lifts. Their cost ranges from 400 to 700 rubles. The rental base has all the equipment you need for skiing on the slopes.

How to get to Logoisk and Silichi resorts

Both ski resorts are located in the Logoisk district, 30-35 km from Minsk. That is, you can get from Minsk by regular regular bus. In the direction of Logoisk every hour there is a fixed-route taxi and a regular bus every 40 minutes. Bus routes go to Silichi in the same way.

If you go from Minsk by car, the route "Minsk - Vitebsk" leads to Logoisk. To "Silichi" - from the Minsk ring road along the Logoisk highway. Before reaching four kilometers to Logoysk, turn right, and then follow the sign for Silichi.

Both resorts are good. Who comes to learn to ride - learn, do not waste time. The instructors will help you. But after a couple of days you will feel how great it is to ride on the snowy slopes.
