Center-South Airlines LLC has been operating on the Russian air transportation market for a short time. The scope of its activities included the implementation of seasonal flights in Central Russia and Siberia, as well as to neighboring countries.
About airline
The domestic airline "Center-South" was established in 1991, but it received a license to carry out its activities two years later.
The base airports were Belgorod and Bolshoye Savino in Perm. The company was engaged in the implementation of seasonal flights in European Russia and neighboring countries.
Also, passengers were offered Vip, private and corporate flights. For over 20 years, the company has been working in the field of business aviation. Moreover, a private flight could be arranged at least three hours before the scheduled departure time. The demand for VIP transportation was quite high, so Center-South responded as quickly as possible to requests for organizing flights. Such a policy acted in connection with the great competition in this industry. Aircraft preparation time has been reduced to a minimum.
On boardpassengers were offered two classes of service, like most Russian carriers: economic and business. Center-South Airlines was once the official carrier of the Lokomotiv-Belogorye volleyball team.
No accidents have occurred in the 24-year period of operation. On October 1 last year, the company temporarily suspended its work. This decision was made by Rosaviatsia based on the results of the checks. A number of serious violations were identified, which led to the revocation of the license on October 23.
Fleet
In 2015, the company operated two types of domestic aircraft: Sukhoi Superjet and Tu-134. The fleet also included Yak-40 aircraft.
Sukhoi Superjet airliners with registration numbers RA 89004, 89007, 89053 were designed to carry 89 passengers. The cabin had 12 seats for business passengers and 75 for flying economy class. It was on these aircraft that they began to apply a branded livery. These machines were new. Tu-134 aircraft were used by the time the license was revoked for business flights.

Center-South Airlines: customer reviews
Passengers who used the company's services reported a high percentage of flight delays and cancellations. The system for informing tourists about cancellations and delays in the schedule was not established. Due to the suspension of the airline's activities, passengers had to go through the procedure for refunding money for tickets, which caused them a lot of inconvenience.
From the positive aspects of the enterprise, tourists highlight:
- excellent in-flight service;
- responsive and qualified staff;
- low attractive airfare;
- flight crew professionalism;
- cleanliness and tidy appearance of salons;
- politeness and responsiveness of flight attendants;

Center-South Airlines has been operating in the passenger transportation market in Russia since 1993. The scope of activity included the performance of seasonal, regular and VIP flights, mainly within the country. Since 2015 she has suspendedits activities, since the federal agency Rosaviatsia revoked its license. This happened because as a result of unscheduled inspections, a large number of violations were revealed. Declared aircraft for flights was not enough. However, this measure is only temporary. In general, passengers spoke well about the work of the airline, but noted a high percentage of delays and flight cancellations.
