Ikar Airlines is a Russian carrier that operates flights under the control of the Pegas Touristik tour operator. The scope of the company's activity is the implementation of seasonal and regular flights in Russia and abroad on the most popular routes.
About airline
Ikar Airlines is an airline whose registered airport is Yemelyanovo (Krasnoyarsk).
It was created back in 1997 and was based at the Magadan airport. Then the air fleet consisted of 10 domestic helicopters and 2 aircraft. However, in 2013 the company was bought out and relocated to Yemelyanovo. At the same time, a new air operator certificate was issued by the Ministry of Transport with number 36 dated April 16.
There is an erroneous opinion that this air carrier is a subsidiary of the well-known Russian company NordWind. But this is not so, since Icarus is under the control of the Pegas Touristik tour operator. The company's activities are carried out on aircraft that previously belonged to NordWind. On their fuselages after renovationthe inscription "Pegas" appeared, and the image of a winged horse appeared on the vertical stabilizers.
Now Ikar Airlines has several branches in Moscow and Khabarovsk.
