Description
Today, the Kalachevo airfield is a sports terminal of national aviation, which is located in the Chelyabinsk region in the Kopeysk urban district. It is part of the structure of the Chelyabinsk air hub. It is an auxiliary air hub of the Chelyabinsk terminal.

- aircraft of all types with the highest takeoff weight not exceeding 7000 kg.
Characteristics of the air hub
Kalachevo airfield is equipped with an airfield,made in the form of a rectangle, elongated from the northwest to the southeast. Its dimensions are 2000 x 700 m. The airfield has a flat surface covered with a grassy cover, which is a fragile turf. With the exception of the autumn-spring thaw, it is used all year round.
If precipitation falls to 10-12 mm, then unpaved taxiways and runways become unusable. The highest allowable reduced load on a conditional single-wheeled pair is 8 kg/cm².
Radio traffic is carried out on a frequency of 122.75 MHz, callsign "Gabriel".
Runways
Kalachevo air hub (Chelyabinsk) has three runways:
- main asph alt strip 13/31, 600 m long, 30 m wide, code PCN29/F/B/Y/T;
- additional unpaved 13D/31D 1800 m long and 60 m wide;
- spare unpaved 1800 m long and 30 m wide.
Geographical coordinates of the airfield: height 226 m, 54°57’17” N. latitude, 061°30’14” E e. The base operator of the air hub is the regional flying club of Chelyabinsk DOSAAF RF.
The airfield is also used by:
- regional flying club of Chelyabinsk "Kalachevo" (profile - parachute jumps and flight practice on SMA);
- ChelAvia airline (profile - ultra-small private aviation (SMA), flight training at SMA).
Flight training

For example, a Tecnam P2002 Sierra board can be delivered to the parking lot by one person on foot, since the car weighs only 335 kg. And the Tecnam P2006T board can already be pulled by several people, since its mass is 800 kg.
Program
