They are banned, and rarely anyone knows about it. However, disputes on this issue do not subside, everyone has different opinions. Ecologists notice that there is some danger, and urge to be more careful about the flora and fauna of the reservoir, as well as the he alth of the surrounding people. Environmental raids are regularly carried out to prevent emergencies.

Besides fishing, hunting, water skiing and sailing are especially popular. In June, the water surface is covered with blue-green algae, covering the surface. On the one hand, this is a beautiful phenomenon, and on the other, a decrease in the useful qualities of water.
The Vileika reservoir is surrounded by a fairly vast territory, which makes it easy to find your favorite place to relax and enjoy nature in the summer months. Special clean air will help improve your he alth and gain positive emotions. But in winter you can admire the bewitching northern lights.
Local landscapes attract with their picturesqueness not only local residents and guests of neighboring regions, but also foreign tourists located in comfortable conditions of recreation centers.
