Tourism

Leningrad region attracts tourists very much, mainly due to the Oredezh water stream. The river has excellent conditions forrecreation that visitors enjoy. Its shores are rich in forests, the sandy bottom and the nature of the current are most suitable for swimming. The danger lies only in the fact that in some parts of the water stream there are quite large boulders and rifts. That is why it is better for beginners to avoid these places. The lower course is the cleanest and more suitable for recreation, but the upper one is clogged, this is due to the fact that local residents often throw various garbage into the stream. This picture is quite unattractive and spoils not only the view of the river, but also the general impression of visitors. However, Oredezh itself is not deprived of the beauty of the nearby landscape: it flows through forest canyons, meadows and has steep banks that enchant with their beauty.

There are cliffs and very beautiful descents to the water. There are small flocks of ducks. Of the fish, there are small representatives of pike, perch, roach, trout, lamprey, etc. In order to catch more fish, you need to go downstream, there are places where there is a very high chance not to leave empty-handed, while as areas of the upper reaches are very scarce in the catch.
