Seoul is a city where Buddhist temples hide behind skyscrapers, and from the TV tower on Mount Namsan you can see the entire village. This is a huge number of tea shops and shops, palace complexes surrounded by hills and hills. Park complex

There is even a free shuttle bus running from the subway station to the entrance at the top of the Seoul Grand Park and near the Museum of Art. The park zone is divided into several thematic zones.

Zoo

This is the most visited part of the complex. All animals are divided by species and habitats:

Animals can even be fed specially prepared food. And in the children's part of the zoo, kids are allowed to play with animals. All representatives of the animal world live in spacious enclosures, so it is convenient to observe them. Here you don’t notice how time flies in the fresh air.

Botanical Garden

Continuation of the zoo area of the Great Seoul Park is the botanical garden. About 1300 species of vegetation of our planet are represented here. The garden is divided into temperature sectors. Flowers in the flowerbeds are planted in the form of animals, space and other objects. Inmany sectors have musical accompaniment and it seems that you are in paradise with exotic flowers. The park staff are very proud of the park's collection of cacti and orchids.

Rose Garden

Seoul Grand park is famous for its rose garden, which is located on the shore of the lake. There are more than 200 varieties of flowers, and there are more than 30 thousand buds in total. You should come here in June, when the roses begin to bloom. The paths around the flower beds are paved with stone, you can walk along them for hours, enjoying the beauty and aroma. And in the very middle of the sector there is a beautiful fountain. It is in this part of the park that there are always a lot of photographers and artists.

Cheongaesang Forest

The complex is surrounded by mountains and a natural forest with approximately 470 varieties of trees. Naturally, birds have chosen this place, more than 35 species live here.

If you like hiking in the forest, then you need to go here. There is a special route here (length - 6, 3 kilometers). After a bustling city, it is in this sector that you can reconnect with nature and breathe in the mountain air.

Other entertainment

Seoul Grand Park has everything for outdoor activities - this is the Seoulland center with rides and carousels that delight not only children but also adults. In the same sector, regular festivals are held dedicated to flowers and plants that bloom in a particular season, cherry blossoms in spring, roses in summer, and chrysanthemums in autumn.

You can admire the beauty of the park almost from a bird's eye view,riding the cable car. The route of the lift runs to the highest platform of the complex through the rose garden and the lake. It is from here that you can see all the landscape creations that are not visible to pedestrians.

For tired visitors to the park, a trackless train runs along the shores of the lake.

How to get there

From Seoul to the park complex can be reached by subway. You should take the fourth or blue line to the station of the same name. A free bus runs from the exit of the metro, which takes vacationers to the upper entrance to the park.
