Unfortunately, today tourists do not have the opportunity to see the original design and interior, because the building was completely burned down during the war. Nevertheless, caring architects restored this landmark of Repino exactly to preserve the memory for many years.

On the site is a beautiful house with a cozy park area, gazebos and a pond. The interior of each of the rooms is amazing and original. Even the gates leading to the inner courtyard are distinguished by a specialarchitectural design.

The story of the creative family is attractive and intriguing. Once a week there was an open day. On this day, everyone who wants to communicate with famous people could visit the house. The artist made the guests feel at home. They themselves could go into any room, enjoy the treats that the owners of the allotment always prepared for dear guests. The dining room was arranged in a unique way, on which the inscription: “Open the doors and come in” was visible. There was a table in the center of the room, the middle of which was spinning non-stop so that each guest could treat themselves to the desired dish.

In summer, the museum-dacha is open from 10.30 am to 6.00 pm, and in winter from 10.30 am to 4.00 pm. Entrance to the territory costs 200 rubles.

The Writers' House in Komarovo

There is another very inquisitive attraction along the street of Lieutenants house 31: the House of Writers. The building was built back in 1956. The building was inhabited by Soviet writers, who could indulge in the muse calmly and without excessive noise and create their works, which were later read by people from all over the USSR.

Locals said that the sounds of typewriters were heard daily from all the windows of this building. Usually it lasted until lunch, and at that moment even passers-by calmed down, so as not to disturb the peace and not distract the writers from the creative process.

The rooms of the writers' house were tiny, they were poorly furnished. However, the creators were comfortablework in such conditions, because a separate room relied on one person.

You can go inside the house if you agree with the administrators of the Writer's House in advance. This will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the institution.

Chukovsky's Dacha

Chukovsky's dacha is located at 10 Kronstadtskaya Street. During the life of the writer, Korney Chukovsky visited many poets of that time. Therefore, this place smells of history, the spirit of the muse is felt. Currently, tourists only have the opportunity to see the place where the dacha was, since in 1986 the building and everything that was on the adjacent territory burned down. To this day, local authorities are trying to restore the former dacha of the famous poet.

Officers have always tried to reduce the importance of the house of an outstanding writer. Each time they tried to prove that this was not Korney Chukovsky's dacha at all. However, there is plenty of evidence that it was the popular writer who lived at this point in the village. This fact was confirmed by local residents and those who had the opportunity to communicate with Chukovsky during his lifetime. Some time later, after long disputes and discussions, Chukovsky's dacha mysteriously burned to the ground.
