Paveletsky railway station (Paveletskaya metro station) was built in 1900 and was previously called Saratov. It is located on the square of the same name and was reconstructed not so long ago. The architect of the station is A. Krasovsky, who designed a very comfortable two-story building with a superstructure in the middle. The facade of the building after the reconstruction, on which the architects A. Gurkov, A. Vorontsov and S. Kuznetsov worked, began to seemone-story. Two halls have retained their original appearance and fit very well into the ensemble of the building after the reconstruction.

Today Paveletsky railway station (Paveletskaya metro station) serves about 10 thousand passengers. On long-distance trains you can go to the regions of the middle and lower Volga region, get to the Kursk, Voronezh, Belgorod and Lipetsk regions. Trains also depart from it to some areas of the Caucasus region and to the Donbass.

From the Paveletsky railway station you can also get to some cities near Moscow. By electric trains you can get to Uzunovo, Domodedovo, Mikhnevo, Barybino, Detkovo, Stupino, Ozherelya and Kashira. In addition, from the station you can get to remote areas of Moscow, for example, to Biryulyovo.

Arriving at this station, you can stay at one of the nearest hotels, which are not far from the metro station. Paveletsky railway station is not the only attraction that you can admire in this area of the capital. From it you can walk to Red Square or drive several stations and get to the most interesting museum-reserves "Tsaritsino" and "Kolomenskoye".

There are many shops near the station, several shopping centers, as well as cafes and restaurants where you can always have a bite to eat after a long journey.

Currently, Paveletsky railway station (metro"Paveletskaya") is planned to be decorated with a new sculpture, which will be located on the square in front of the building. Now among the inhabitants of the capital a vote is being held, according to the results of which they will decide how the monument will look like. There are several projects: "Glasses", "Grandfather with a dog" (a scene peeped on the street), the "Lovers" fountain, and also "Station".
