You should not be afraid of reckless drivers at the entrance along the serpentine to Cape Formentor in Mallorca. The drivers here are very careful, giving way to each other and to pedestrians. You won't get lost either - there are so many signs that it's easier to get lost in the three pines. And there is only one highway from Pollensa to the lighthouse, there is simply nowhere to turn off the road, in any case you will reach the famous beach. There you can leave your car in the parking lot and go to the famous beach. Photos of Cape Formentor in Mallorca are simply not able to convey all its beauty, so it's better to see it with your own eyes. This is one of the most visited places in Spain. Cape location
The cape itself is located on the northern tip of the Spanish island and already from the plane presents a magnificent sight - a narrow and winding hulk that resembles a huge man sunbathing in the sun with his arms outstretched. Leaving the car at the Formentor beach parking lot, tourists can go straight down to the famous fabulous beach or head to the Cape Formentor lighthouse in Mallorca.

The cape is the northernmost point of the entire island. Here, at a glance, you can see not only the bay of Pollensa, but also another world-famous Spanish resort - the island of Menorca. True, if the weather is lucky. On a stormy day, visibility drops significantly. But even in a storm, the view from the lighthouse is simply amazing - the raging waves break to smithereens on the rock on which the lighthouse is located. An incredible sight not for the faint of heart. At this moment, you especially feel your vulnerability to the elements.

This area is especially popular among tourists, although Formentor and Pollensa beaches are not considered places of large crowds - it is forbidden to build large hotels here and you will not find noisy establishments. The best way to get to the lighthouse and Formentor beach is to rent a car. There is also a bus from the beach of Pollensa, but it leaves only once a day at 10:15 and arrives at the place around twelve o'clock in the afternoon. Not the best option, so if you have a choice, it's better to rent a car. The latter option is also supported by the fact that the bus only goes to the observation deck, from which it is unrealistic to walk to the beach and the lighthouse on foot. Most of the beauty in this case remains behind the scenes.
Another perfectly acceptable option is a taxi, but it must be ordered in advance by phone. The town of Pollensa is small and it is unrealistic to quickly find a taxi. On it, you can first drive to the observation deck, then go to the beach and the lighthouse, take a calm walk while the car is waiting, and then go home on it. A visit to Cape Formentor must be included in the itinerary of the trip if you are in Mallorca. This is really a wonderful place, after which there will be a lot of positive impressions.
