Greatness and elegance of the structure is given by an interesting upper part, made in the form of a stained-glass window, on which doves are depicted. The number of birds is 130, which by number symbolizes all the nationalities living in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
It is also unique that the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation was built in strict accordance with the rule of the golden section: the length of one side laid at the base is equal to the total height of the building.
Pyramid is a world treasure
There are no analogues to this iconic architectural structure anywhere on our planet. The Palace of Peace and Accord (address: Astana, Manas St., 57) is located on an area of 28 thousand square meters. meters at a height of more than 60 meters (exact height 62.0 m).

The largest area in the building is given over to the hall called "Cheops Atrium". It occupies 2000 sq. m, while it includes 4 galleries. One of them presents a grandiose composition of huge size called “The Master Plan for the Development of the Capital of Kazakhstan until 2030.”
When it takes your breath away
A truly bewitching sight opens when you visit the hall, which is called the "Cradle", it is located at the very top of the pyramid. You can go up to this hall by an elevator, but not a simple one, but a glass one, and, besides, it moves diagonally. As the elevator rises, you can admire the magnificent landscapes surrounding the palace.
Many people prefer walking to the elevator, because while climbing in this way, you can enjoy the "Hanging Gardens of Astana", which are located on the territory of the palace. Plants from all over the world are represented here, and this spectacle is mesmerizing. The Palace of Peace and Reconciliation delights with its magnificence.
