The age-old construction in the center of Tver, which, as everyone already thought, would never be completed, nevertheless stopped completely a few years ago. All construction work has ended, and the "glass", as the locals call the building for its shape, has turned into a modern business center "Tver".

Backstory

Once upon a time, back in the last century, namely in 1977, the construction of a miracle building began in Tver. They cost it for the XXII Moscow Olympic Games, they planned to use it as a hotel, but they never completed it. Didn't make it.

Then the crisis broke out, and they could have forgotten about the building, but its impressive size did not allow it. Among the Tverites about the "glass", as they called the 77-meter hulk, legends were made. It was rumored that, due to its unusual design, it was unstable and was about to collapse.

The building was solid, but no one needed it. All internal structures are hopelessly outdated, and it was difficult and expensive to remake anything. The reason for this was the unusual shape of the building.

In 2007 in the building againwork began. He was surrounded by a fence. The area around the building was improved. Lawns, flower beds and a parking lot appeared next to the "glass".

Modern business center "Tver"

Tver "glass" has stood the test of time, crisis and perestroika. Now it has become one of the most popular buildings in the city, known as the business center "Tver".

Besides the offices, the 22 floors of the building housed a cafe, a cinema and concert hall "Panorama", a hotel and a restaurant of the same name. An observation deck has opened on the roof of the building.

Panorama Concert Hall

Business center "Tver" has a large, but cozy room. Film screenings and concerts are held here. The hall can accommodate up to 500 people. Comfortable chairs are arranged in tiers, so the stage and screen will be perfectly visible from any seat.

In the foyer in front of the hall there is a cafe with sofas and tables - the place is quite pleasant for communication. At first glance, the cafe is small, but behind the first hall there is a balcony built along the inner perimeter of the building. There are tables there too. Behind the glass wall there is a stunning view of the city, on the other hand - on the foyer on the ground floor, where various events often take place. It can be concerts, and dance evenings, and all kinds of festivals.

Restaurant

Has a business center "Tver" restaurant, which, like the cinema,called Panorama. It is located on the 22nd floor, from where visitors can admire the city views thanks to panoramic windows. Comfortable soft chairs, wide tables, beautiful decorations are conducive to holding various festive events here, whether it's a wedding, anniversary or corporate event.

The restaurant is unusual in that the large hall, accommodating up to 160 people, can be divided into three relatively small areas using special structures.

There is also a VIP-hall "Ekaterininsky" in "Panorama", designed for only 16 visitors. Those who come here may well feel like roy alty. After all, luxurious furnishings and quality service are conducive to this.

Another room for karaoke fans. The most modern equipment is installed here. The collection of foreign and Russian songs is regularly updated. A professional sound engineer is constantly working in the hall, always ready to help visitors.

Hotel

There is also a hotel in the business center "Tver", which is located on the 17th-19th floors of the building. Here you can rent a superior standard room, suite and junior suite. All rooms are individually designed and comfortable.

Lookout

On the 24th floor of the business center "Tver" there is an observation deck from where the city is visible at a glance.

Anyone can visit it. Login forguests of the restaurant and hotel free of charge. For the rest, a half-hour visit to the observation deck will cost 200 rubles. You must have an identity document with you. You can pay for a visit to Panorama on the first floor of the business center. From there, the guard will escort you to the observation deck.
