Novospassky bridge in historical terms is the oldest of Moscow's bridges. Only Borodinsky can be equal in age with him. At the moment, it is difficult to attribute the Novospassky Bridge to the sights of the capital. History
Initially, the bridge was wooden and served to connect the banks of the Moscow River. The Novospassky Bridge served for the movement of large streams of people, horse carts, which were heading to the nearby Novospassky Monastery. It was his name that went to the bridge. By the way, the monastery is still active today, and a very beautiful view opens up on it from the bridge.
The bridge has been rebuilt many times. The stone version was erected in 1911. In 1937 it was reconstructed, we can say that it was rebuilt. Only the pillars remained of the former. Therefore, having conceived a walk and choosing the Novospassky Bridge (berth) for landing, it is better to know the departure schedule of the vessel you are interested in in advance, especially since there are many of them coming here, and it is easy to miss the right one, watching the mooring and departing ships of various sizes. On weekdays, boats leave in about 40minutes, on weekends - after 20.
Often, on the approach to the pier, guests are met by representatives of shipping companies who clarify the purpose of your arrival to the place, agitate for a river trip and instruct where and when the ship will board.
The cost of travel for an adult starts from 600 rubles. There is a one-day ticket that allows you to ride the boat all day. The cost of such a ticket last summer (2016) was 1000 rubles. Tickets can be purchased at a promotion - 50% cheaper. Such offers are often posted on online travel portals.
Attractions
Near the Novospassky bridge are the most beautiful places. One of them is the Novospassky Monastery - a place that you can admire both from the bridge and from the side of the river, and even better - wander around its territory, go to the temples. Here, despite the proximity of the center of the capital, peace and tranquility reign.
An interesting view opens up on the Krutitsy Patriarchal Compound, on the territory of which the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is located. Its domes are visible through the trees. The house of music, green areas stretching along the embankments - all this beauty can be seen from the board of a pleasure boat or from the Novospassky bridge.
By the way, an interesting sight can be considered a sign with the spelling "Novo-Spassky" through a hyphen. This is not found in other sources.

How to get there
You can get to the Novospassky Most pier by metro, having reached the Proletarskaya station. From here, 10-15 minutes walk (700 meters) - and you are at the goal. You need to exit the metro in the direction of the 3rd Krutitsky Lane, to the Krutitsky Val, Novospassky Monastery. The monastery domes can serve as landmarks, and then the bridge itself will become visible. The pier is on the right side, opposite the monastery. It is even easier to walk from the pier to the subway. You will be unmistakably taken out by the stream of people moving along the street. It must be remembered that the monastery should always remain on the right hand when moving towards the bridge. Accordingly, in the opposite direction - on the left. You can ride one stop on the 35th or 38th tram.
