The village with the interesting name Anchor Gap (a photo and description of this resort will be presented in this article) is considered one of the quietest and most comfortable resort corners of our country. There was no place for pretentious clubs, discos and other noisy entertainments here, the village cannot boast of any cultural or architectural monuments. But still a huge number of tourists come here. It's all about the unique nature, peace and quiet.

Description

Subtropical forest, magnificent apple orchards, mountain ranges with rivers, small waterfalls and stone bowls - all this is provided to the tourist by the village. Here the soul rests, and you can admire the local nature forever. A microdistrict that is popular in Sochi is Anchor Gap. It was located at the foot of the mountains in a large gorge. There are mountains on three sides, so the weather conditions are very pleasant. There are practically no winds. Such a climatevery soft, so everyone can rest comfortably, especially for children and the elderly.

The air is light, but a little cool, it is incredibly easy to breathe. A special note is added by the smell of the surrounding forest, as well as the aroma of flowering orchards. Winter colds do not come to the village, throughout the entire cold period the temperature does not fall below zero. Thanks to this, there are no sudden temperature changes, which means that the weather has a very beneficial effect on the human condition.

History

The village of Yakornaya Shchel began its history back in 1719. At that time, a special anchor was cast in the Urals, which weighed more than 180 kilograms. This was done by special order from the state. After that, the anchor was installed on one of the ships, then several times it was reinstalled on other ships. The last time the anchor belonged to the Penderaklia corvette. But in 1840 there was a powerful storm, after which the ship sank. It happened close to the shore, fortunately, the ship's crew managed to get to the shore and escape.

At the beginning of the 20th century, a group of divers discovered the ship and completely examined it. According to preliminary data, it became known that a large consignment of gold was transported on the sunken ship, which went to the bottom along with the ship. But, unfortunately, the divers did not find gold, but things from the cabins and the anchor itself were raised to the surface. All these finds were left on the shore, many things were taken by the locals for their own use, but they could not carry away the anchor, so it was for a long timeon the shore. Over time, this place was called Anchor Gap.

Reviews about this resort are mixed. But for those who love silence and unity with nature, this place is perfect.

This is the best place for families with small children. The village has a special climate, soft, warm, fragrant. Here, even boarding houses are located so that everyone is comfortable, calm and comfortable. To get from anywhere in the village to the beach, it will not take more than 15 minutes, and the walk will be very pleasant. The surroundings here are stunningly beautiful. The shore of the beach is covered with pebbles and yellow sand. The water is clear, and it is very pleasant to walk along the bottom, as it is cleaned from stones and algae. This arrangement is especially convenient for families with small children. Also on the beach there is an entertainment area where you can ride a banana, scooters, etc. Not far from the beach there are souvenir shops andsmall cafes. It is here that you can see the largest concentration of people.

Sightseeing and entertainment

As mentioned earlier, Anchor Gap does not boast a lot of attractions. And in fact, they are not to be found in the village. But still, this is a unique place, so there are natural attractions in the area. Excursions are often organized here, which vacationers visit with pleasure.

One of the most popular is an excursion to 33 waterfalls. The program includes a visit to the village of Kichmay. It is here that you can taste the most delicious honey, and if you wish, take a jar home with you. Then the tour goes directly to the waterfalls themselves, and then, according to the plan, swimming in the Shakha River. Here you can also buy Adyghe wine, which is distinguished by its delicate taste.

A trip to Krasnaya Polyana is no less interesting. But you need to be prepared for the fact that the tour will be very tiring, because the whole day will be busy walking around the area.
