All-Russian children's center "Eaglet" is located on the Black Sea coast in the city of Tuapse. Guys from all over Russia come here.

How the camp started

The first shift was back in 1960, in July. Then 520 children from 37 regions of Russia visited the camp. The workers were Artek leaders in the amount of 14 people, including Andreev A. I., who headed the "Eaglet".

Then the camp was quite small. It consisted of a pioneer pavilion with a library and game library, lockers, showers, a dining room, a wooden stage and 28 canvas tents located along the sea. A solemn line in honor of the opening was held in 1960 on July 12. The duration of this shift was 45 days.

During the day, the guys planted trees and flowers, removed garbage, thereby helping the builders. And in the evening they sat by the fire and sang songs. Throughout the shift, they were instilled with special social ideals:

• to be a citizen and a patriot, a fighter and a worker, a devoted friend and comrade, a person of versatile culture;
• have high morals, deep knowledge, live for the common good.

Our time

Eagle circle, campfire songs, legends, evening light are still alive and traditional.

At the moment, international, federal and regional pedagogical programs are being implemented in the camp. The children are offered active recreation, here they gain experience that will be useful to them in life.

Periodic meetings with famous people: politicians, writers, scientists, athletes and artists. Together with counselors, boys and girls spend their leisure time and are engaged in creativity. Labor activity is also an integral part of the life of eaglets. They clean the area, make the beds, clean up the sleeping quarters, and are also on duty around the camp and in the dining room.

There are camps, a school, the Palace of Culture and Sports, the House of Aviation, exhibitions, a sports complex, workshops for various arts, a medical building and other facilities on the territory of the Orlyonok All-Russian Center.

Mountain and sea air, a large number of sunny days a year, the opportunity to swim in the sea and the golden beach - all this is an excellent environment for children to relax and improve their he alth.

At the moment, there are seven camps in the children's center, each of which has its own showers, medical stations, summer stages, canteens and special places equipped for the work of teams.

So, in the summer houses are located:

• "Sunny";
• "Sentinel";
• "Komsomolsky".

Three- and four-storey buildings are occupied by detachments:

• "Star";
• "Storm";
• "Olympic";
• "Swift".

Children aged 11 to 16 years old are accepted to the children's center all year round. Five meals a day are organized for them. Each squad has its own medical center, providing round-the-clock assistance. Security and rescue services work without interruption.

Orlyonok Children's Center: Star Camp

On the territory of the squad there is an astronomical observatory, a space ladder, as well as a four-story building resembling a ship. In the building of the children's he alth camp "Star" fits 400 children, 14 eagles in a room. On the floors there are all amenities. There are special rooms for vocal lessons, playing musical instruments and choreography. In addition, the building has a laundry, ironing, drying, medical center, a place to recharge phones, a storage room, a cash desk and a Wi-Fi zone.

For the leisure of the eaglets, various circles are provided, for example,such as:

• floristry;
• knitting;
• embroidery;
• artistic;
• vocal;
• dance;
• manufacture of products from leather, paper, vines, straws;
• burning, painting on stone and wood;
• patchwork mosaic.

Children not only attend the disciplines they like, but also study aerospace medicine, the basics of life safety, and also engage in astronomical observations. In the evenings there are discos or movie screenings.

Of course, outdoor activities are unthinkable without sports. On the territory of the camp there are various sports grounds where you can play basketball, football, pioneer ball, streetball, volleyball, etc. The squad building has places for table tennis, chess, checkers, billiards and air hockey.

A lot of attention in the Orlyonok children's center and the Zvyozdnoy camp is also given to tourism activities. Children learn to navigate the area and go on camping trips where they cook food over a campfire.

During the summer, the shift is 21 days, at other times of the year - 30 days.

Beach vacation

The corps of the squad is located near the sea. The Zvezdny camp also has its own beach. Bathing places for children are marked with special floats, there are awnings from the sun. Special time allotted for visiting:

• from 7.30 to 8.30;
• from 9.30 to 12.30;
• from 16.30 to 18.30.

Children are watched by counselors, medicalworker, lifeguard and swimming instructors.

Camp changes

All year round in "Orlyonok" various programs are implemented, which involve promotions, flash mobs, round tables and other outstanding events. Everyone, without exception, has the opportunity to reveal their abilities and talents while participating in gaming and competitive events.

In the Orlyonok children's center, the Zvyozdny camp is implementing a special project called "United by Space". Assistance in this is provided by the Yu. A. Gagarin Center. This institution prepares astronauts for flights.

Star camp changes:

• "Our heritage";
• "Gift for a veteran";
• "Rosatom School";
• "Young traffic inspectors";
• "Young Firefighters and more.

The Recreation Center is a platform where the All-Russian Forum "Boomerang" is constantly held - an open event for children's screen creativity. Masters of cinema and television, journalists come to meet with the eaglets every year, they give master classes. Among them are such famous people as Alexei Lysenkov, Alexander Shkolnik, Sergei Miroshnichenko, Vladimir Grammatikov, Sergei Tsymbalenko.

In the center "Eaglet", in the camp "Star", there is even a detachment of counselors. It is called "Eternally United Burning Army", in other words - VEGA. In honor of the brightest star belonging to the constellation"Lyra". This is how the eyes of the people working here, who have great creative potential, burn. Before joining the teaching staff of the children's center, counselors visit the "School of Pedagogical Workers" and go to practice.
