Sochi, the sea, the embankment… it looks like paradise! And indeed it is. The Sochi embankment is one of the most remarkable places in this wonderful city. In general, for the sake of justice, it is worth noting one nuance. The embankment is the place that, in principle, is considered the most attractive in any seaside city. But we all know that Sochi is a special city. So its interesting places should be discussed separately.

So, the Sochi embankment is located on the Black Sea coast in the Central and Khostinsky districts. In general, this sunny resort town, one might say, is entirely located along the sea. This can only be understood by looking at the map.
People call the Sochi embankment "Promenade". This is the most favorite place for recreation and walks for both local residents and visitors who visit the city for leisure or business purposes. It stretches from the Marine Station to Pushkin Avenue. In principle, with a leisurely, walking pace, you can walk it for about forty minutes. The total length of the embankment is about two kilometers. Many believe that this place is ideal for walking romanticwalks. In any case, a lot of pleasant experiences are certainly guaranteed.
What to see
The Sochi embankment is not only an amazingly picturesque place overlooking the sea. There are also a lot of different cafes, canteens, restaurants. In addition, it was in this place that the famous scene of buying lottery tickets from the movie “The Diamond Arm” was filmed. And on one of the beaches here, the sea “Neptune Festival” is traditionally celebrated.
By the way, one of the main attractions that the Sochi embankment can boast of is the sea station, the building of which was erected in 1955. Interestingly, another episode of “The Diamond Hand” was also filmed at the main deep-sea pier. Sochi Sea Station is an architectural monument of federal significance. The 71-meter tower is crowned with a spire, which is made of polished stainless steel. And if you drive a little further, you can find yourself on another embankment - in close proximity (a couple of minutes) to the Olympic venues. It is worth noting that Adler is considered the most prestigious place in the Krasnodar Territory for recreation.
