Zaryadye Park is an exclusive project

In 2017, Muscovites expect the opening of a new park, which will be dedicated to the day of the city. The idea of the creators of the park is striking in its breadth: on a vast territory of 12 hectares, 4 landscape zones that exist in Russia will be presented: tundra, steppe, forest and swamps. Each zone will be artificially maintained at its characteristic temperature, so do not be surprised if the park is hot in winter and cold in summer. The park will give the townspeople a unique opportunity: they will be able to get acquainted with the diversity of nature in vast Russia without leaving their hometown. After all, the zones will differ not only in temperature and landscape, but also in representatives of the animal world. Each sector will have a small zoo.

Project scope

It is expected that the park will house a philharmonic society, which in terms of the quality of acoustics will far surpass the most famous world analogues. The hall under the huge dome of the Philharmonic can accommodate 1.5 thousand people at the same time. Here, over the Moscow River, a 70-meter floating bridge will be built. It will become a magnificent viewing platform, one of the best in the city, from which visitors to the park will be able to see the center of the capital, the Kremlin and its environs in every detail. The future territory of the park, formerly a wasteland on the site of the demolished Rossiya Hotel, is now in a state of reconstruction. Periodically, archaeological finds are discovered here, which will then be put on display for guests of the park. And the ancient temples, also located on this territory, will be restored. The park will be open for visiting around the clock. Thematic playgrounds will entertain both adults and children. It is planned that this place will be visited annually by about 12 million people. The exclusive square promises to become a unique place and the best not only in Moscow, but also in the world. There are other equally interesting parks in the center of Moscow. Alexander Garden

Aleksandrovsky Garden has been a favorite place for walks among Muscovites since the day it was founded. It was created by order of Emperor Alexander I as part of a plan to rebuild Moscow after the fire of 1812. The original name of the garden is the Kremlin, because it is located near one of the walls of the Kremlin. A little later hehas been renamed. The garden owes its modern name to Alexander I. The area of the garden is about 10 hectares, it is divided into three parts: the Upper, Middle and Lower gardens. The Upper Garden occupies the area from the Arsenal Tower of the Kremlin to Troitskaya, which serves as a tourist entrance to the Kremlin. This route is also used by spectators hurrying to visit performances in the State Kremlin Palace. This place cannot be called quiet: there are many visitors here. The Upper Garden is located somewhat lower than the surrounding streets and is separated from the city noise by the structures of Manezhnaya Square. All this, along with greenery and grooming, creates a special atmosphere and attracts citizens and guests of the capital here. The garden is surrounded by a wrought-iron fence, and the front gate at the main entrance is emblazoned with symbols commemorating the victory over Napoleon.

Gorky Park

Residents and guests of the city, who want to take a break from the rhythm of life of a big metropolis, are always ready to accept Gorky Park. This park with a beach in the center of Moscow is the best place for walking with children. Founded in 1928, it still attracts citizens and gives them a wonderful holiday and pleasant experience. Here you can comfortably sit on the green grass, rollerblade or bike, have a picnic, read and sunbathe. The park is always interesting - both in summer and in winter. The park is open to the public 24 hours a day and admission is free. Everything is provided here for the convenience of visitors: parking, a first-aid post, a room for mother and child, as well as paths for cyclists and children'ssites. The attraction of the park is a museum dedicated to its history. It is located right inside the gate, which is the historical main entrance to the square. This is a grandiose building 18 meters high. An observation deck is equipped at an 18-meter height at the main entrance, from where you can see the entire park and offer a stunning view of the capital. There are binoculars on the roof of the building, with the help of which museum visitors can view the opening panorama in all its details.

Museon Park

In the Muzeon art park, along with the usual park entertainment, you can find real works of art - many sculptures are located here, right in the open air. This makes the park unique not only within the city, but throughout the country. The territory of the park occupies more than 23 hectares and stretches along the Crimean embankment. Visitors are amazed by the variety of sculptures that the Muzeon contains. Here are collected works of different eras and styles, ranging from monumental works of the 30s of the last century and monuments of the era of socialist realism to creationscontemporary avant-garde. In the park you can find a monument to Lenin, as well as the most unusual statues of modern times and the era of the Soviet Union. In total, there are more than 800 sculptures in the park! Muzeon is not an ordinary museum: its exhibits are not hidden under glass and are not surrounded by fences, there are no strict caretakers here. Muzeon is undoubtedly the winner in the category called "Parks in the center of Moscow where you can take a walk." Walking along the square, you will see sculptures placed along the alleys or right on the lawn. Therefore, you can safely approach them, touch them, take pictures, you can even sit next to them or lie down. A visit to Muzeon is a great opportunity to literally touch the beautiful.

Hermitage Garden

Parks in the center of Moscow, where you can be closer to nature, are attracting more and more attention. The Hermitage Garden is a favorite place of rest for both Muscovites themselves and guests of the city. Of the many Moscow parks, the townspeople choose it and come to Karetny Ryad Street. And this is despite the fact that many other parks are ready to offer more interesting, varied entertainment and services. Why is the Hermitage Garden so attractive? In it you can take a break from the bustle of the city, noise and exhaust gases, breathe fresh air, take a leisurely walk along the park alleys. Residents of a huge city can enjoy the silence and harmony of nature here, listen to themselves, to their thoughts and feelings. In addition, the Hermitage Garden regularly arranges various culturalevents, and on its territory there are three theaters. Just a hundred years ago, this place was an ordinary wasteland, but today the garden pleases the eye with greenery - it is a real oasis in the middle of the concrete jungle.

Krasnaya Presnya Culture Park

Parks in the center of Moscow near the metro are not uncommon. Krasnaya Presnya is a square surrounded by modern skyscrapers in the very heart of the capital. A magnificent monument of landscape gardening art is open to the public every day. Here you can walk along the picturesque alleys and see the unique canals with beautiful bridges, on which the foot of Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin himself stepped. Having been in the park, you can not only relax, but also feel the breath of history, which literally everything is saturated here.

A bit of history

In the 18th century, the estate of the princes Gagarins was located here, which received its name from the nearby Studenets stream, the water in which was famous for its healing properties. The Gagarins built a well in which everyone could quench their thirst. In the 19th century, the new owner of the palace, Arseniy Zakrevsky, reconstructed the adjacent territory. Under the leadership of Domenico Gilardi, a brilliant architect and innovator of his time, the estate acquired a new face and became, according to contemporaries, like "absolute Venice in the gardens." During the Soviet period, unfortunately, the estate lost its original appearance, some sculptures and gardens were irretrievably lost. Today, work is underway to restore its former splendor, and this, of course, is a longand painstaking process. Today, Krasnaya Presnya Park is a wonderful modern place for leisure activities. Many new and interesting things await its visitors, there is entertainment for every taste: concerts, creative meetings, events for children and festivals are held in the park, there is an open-air cinema.
